We are currently looking for a Pricing Analyst for our head office located in Dorval.

Tasks/responsibilities:

• From a rate request, the analyst must issue a rate proposal in order to meet the customer’s transportation needs (parcel, LTL and TL) all the while respecting the different factors that are specific to GLS (density, lanes, subsidy, etc.) as required;

• Answer “rate inquiries” email in order to respond to internal customer’s rates-related needs/questions;

• Complete tasks in relation to pricing, as requested by a supervisor.

• Participate in Yield and GRI increases;

• Participate in the annual rate increase process, conducting cost-benefit analyzes and preparing proposals for sales reps;

• Participate in special projects related to pricing;

• Occasionally coach teammates in various tasks;

• Other related tasks.

Requirements/skills:

• College or University degree is preferred

• Bilingual (Mandatory)

• Good MS Office knowledge

• Mastery of Excel

• Relevant experience in data manipulation

• Exemplary Customer service skills

• Transportation experience (an asset)

• Good sense of judgement

• Excellent communication skills
